About Us

Dr. Deedee Coleman, Chair of the PNBC Prison Ministry Project

Progressive National Baptist Convention Prison Ministry Project works to bring hope and restoration to prisoners, families and communities impacted by crime and incarceration.

Our Goal

To engage in programs that will decrease crime and strengthen the family unit (counseling, domestic violence, family reunification, employment and health awareness).

Our Vision

To become the Progressive National Baptist Convention’s educational tool for pastors and ministry-minded individuals to fulfil the mandate of Matthew 25:31-46 and erase the stigma that follows returning citizens and families of the incarcerated.

The Progressive National Baptist Convention Prison Ministry Project believes that families can be restored and communities healed if we forgive.
